ReservationsDirect was founded by Hans J. Hess, President, who brings more than 40 years experience in the computer industry. The company is an innovative and solid business that has experienced excellent growth since its inception—a growth due to the experience of its principals and employees along with its innovative marketing programs.

Our management team has diverse backgrounds and expertise in computer technology, marketing, sales, hospitality and travel. We are proud that our company continues to achieve consistent growth with an innovative business model that separates us from our competitors for standard and specialized travel programs.

In 1998, ReservationsDirect.com was launched as a web-based search service and directory for vacation homes & resort rentals. ReservationsDirect gives customers convenient, 24/7, property information access for changes, updates or to switch out properties and photos. The company also continues its commitment to service the industry with a competitive, no commission, low investment model.

The travel network has grown to include more than 5000 properties in over 90 plus preferred vacation getaways & travel destinations around the world giving visitors a fast, convenient way to locate vacation homes, hotels, golf resorts and spas.

In 2002, the company expanded its marketing efforts by adding SportsPlacesToStay – a specialty site targeted to travelers interested in accommodations for major sporting events including football, baseball, marathons and auto racing.

Two years later, ResortPlacesToStay.com was introduced to promote Hotels, Inns, Bed & Breakfasts, and Destination Resorts and Spas.

With the addition of FindAPropertyManager.com, owners and managers of short-term/annual vacation rentals, residential rentals, as well as commercial office and retail space, are easily connected with quality property management companies.

In 2010 we added Rental Homes by Owner, a rental property website for vacation rentals by owner. Each year, we carry forward with our mission to make ongoing improvements and additions, to expand to new traveler markets, and to introduce new technology and tools.
